Professional societies: One version for every member

Wardside is the evidence-based clinical assistant in which professional organisations and scientific societies publish their guidelines and consensus documents. Members see them cited in the answers, alongside summaries of product characteristics (SmPCs) and international guidelines.

What the organisation gets

Upload once. Everyone sees one version.

The guideline or consensus document is uploaded once in the organisation’s console. All members work with the same version, and the answers cite it.

Organisation documents

Your documents, cited in the answers

Documents are uploaded as PDF, Markdown or text, up to 20 MB. Only the organisation’s members can see them. The chat cites them to the page, on a par with SmPCs and international guidelines.

  • The citation opens the document at the cited page
  • Other organisations cannot see your documents
  • A new version: you upload the new file and remove the old one

Members

Invitations for members, administrators of your choice

The organisation designates its administrators. They invite members by email, in groups, and manage the list. The invitation is valid for 30 days.

  • Roles: physician, nurse, pharmacist
  • Members with a personal email address, with an explicit tick from the administrator
  • Sign-in by invitation or work domain only

What else every member gets

Your documents alongside every source

Besides the organisation’s documents, every member has the whole platform: Platform

7,600+summaries of product characteristics, divided into 25 sections
164guidelines, standards and regulations in 18 areas
171,659drug interaction pairs with a stated severity
89calculators and scores in 14 specialties, with the formula and the source

Administration

Administration stays with you

The organisation manages its members and documents from a dedicated console. Wardside provides the platform and the sources.

Administrators of your choice

The organisation designates who manages it. An administrator can also make other members administrators.

Group invitations

A list of email addresses for a section or for all members. The invitation is valid for 30 days, and personal email is allowed only with an explicit tick.

One current version

The document belongs to the organisation. When a new version comes out, the old one is removed and members see the new one.

Monthly report

Questions, active members and the answers that used the organisation’s documents, as a PDF every month.

Audit log

Every turn in the chat is recorded. The content can be read only by the administrator and the organisation’s pharmacist; the Wardside operator sees only metadata.

Questions

Common questions from professional societies

How Wardside is rolled out: For institutions
More answers: FAQ

Who can see the organisation’s documents?

Only its members. The documents are published by the organisation’s administrator and are not visible to other organisations. The chat cites them in the members’ answers, alongside SmPCs and international guidelines.

How do all members work with the same version?

The document belongs to the organisation, not to an individual. When a new version comes out, the administrator uploads the new file and removes the old one. Once processing is complete, the answers cite the new version.

Can members with a personal email address get access?

Yes, by explicit invitation. The administrator marks that personal email is allowed, and the invitation is sent. There is no registration with a personal email address without an invitation.

Does every member need a professional registration number?

Doctors and pharmacists enter their professional registration number when they register. People invited by the organisation are approved automatically. Registration is by invitation or work email domain only.

What documents can the organisation upload?

PDF, Markdown or text, up to 20 MB per file: guidelines, consensus documents, position papers, protocols. The document is processed in the background and appears for members as soon as it is ready. For what else the Wardside library contains, see the Sources page.
